Statement

Hollobaugh's work takes many forms from wearable objects to prints to paintings. The subject matter of her work typically includes flowers, landscapes and food while her material choices vary. These subjects are joy bringing, while stimulating the other senses through the use of imagery. She uses sight to reach towards: taste, touch, smell. When looking at Hollobaugh's artwork she intends to bring awareness to the world around us and the little moments that might pass us by, through evoking the senses while also brushing up against humor. The works’ intent is to whisper to the viewer to appreciate, pay attention and sometimes laugh while doing so. Hollobaugh’s goal is to call awareness to mindfulness and the small moments that are capable of making a big impact.
